Rebuilding Together Houston provides window AC/heater units and box fans at no cost to qualifying homeowners in Harris County through its Extreme HEAT program; the Extreme Weather program provides relief to homeowners who need additional resources to withstand Houston's unpredictable climate. All repairs completed by Rebuilding Together Houston are at no cost to the homeowner.

Homeowners may apply for free services through the application on the Programs and Services page. The application is a 2-step process — both the homeowner and the home must qualify — beginning with completion of an application and the supporting documentation listed in the application for screening by Client Services.
